A question I’m often asked is, “Which famous people, alive or dead, are, or were, mentally tough?” The answer is, of course, subjective. For me, mental toughness revolves around surviving, thriving, and overcoming adversity to achieve success, often after enduring a sustained period of difficulty or opposition. With that in mind, here are ten famous individuals who, in my opinion, exemplify mental toughness and stand as inspiring icons to many.
