Our Copyright Policy

Introduction

Our purpose at Everything Mental Toughness is to objectively inform, educate and support our community about the concept of mental toughness and everything related to its history, research, framework, measurement, development and application.

We create original content but also curate using material sourced from experts, collaborators as well as mainstream authors, writers and journalists commenting on resilience, mindset, mental toughness, and related subjects.

Our Curation Principles

We have developed and follow the following best practice principles for our curated content material:

  • Define Our Goals and Audience: We have defined our purpose of our content curation (“inform, educate and support “) and sought to understand our audience’s needs to guide us in selecting appropriate and relevant content.
  • Choose Relevant and Credible Sources: Curate content from reputable, authoritative, and diverse sources. Avoid sources that are outdated, biased, or inaccurate.
  • We seek to add Value and Perspective: We aim to add our own commentary, analysis, or opinion to provide context and enhance understanding.
  • We acknowledge and respect Copyright Laws: We always give proper credit and attribution to the original sources where possible, using quotation marks or block quotes when citing verbatim and link back to the original content. We try to avoid using large portions of the original work, which could be considered copyright infringement.
  • We follow Fair Use Principles: We seek to ensure that our use of curated content falls within the fair use guidelines, which typically allow for criticism, commentary, news reporting, education, or research.
  • We obtain Permissions: If the content is not covered by fair use or is not in the public domain, we seek permission from the copyright owner before using it.
